“Review for Lauren - Circuit Classes & Running Club Lauren has a way of making you feel like you belong from day one. What started as a simple workout routine has become a form of discipline and self-care, with her support every step of the way. When she started her running club, I joined right away. I was going through some personal changes and wasn’t in the best place, but her sessions gave me purpose and helped me choose a healthier path. She might not even realise it, but what she brings to us goes beyond fitness. It’s community, it’s support…and for me, it’s been life-changing. I’m so grateful to be part of her journey.”

“Such a wicked gym man. All the crew are great. Been there a few months now and with prior experience in only boxing and judo, I feel i’ve been able to learn so much, so quickly, with the help of the guys here. Big up yourselves Cam, Sal and everyone in the gym who helps me learn every session 💪 Love to Cliff as well, such a friendly and helpful guy with anything you need.”

“Has been more than a year I’m going to Diesel Gym training Muay Thai and I’ve admit It’s the best gym in London for this combat sport, the coaches are simply the best; from Arnas, Elijah, Cameron, Stanimir, Sydney, Jimmy. I highly recommend if you want train Muay Thai seriously, I also like the timetables suitable to my schedule from morning to evening. The facility has showers and changing rooms, sauna, heavy bag area and weights room. I’m aware of MMA, JIU JITSU and WRESTLING classes are top notch, personally I’ve never tried, but I have to say the environment It’s really cool friendly, for £99 monthly It’s the best deal in London!”

“Gym located near the royal albert station. Went there for a 1.5 hours Muay Thai class (all levels). You will be paired up with a person (buddy) in a class. Instructor will demonstrate a technique and you will execute it with your buddy for 3 mins, followed by push ups. This will be repeated for about 35-40mins. After which, you will switch over and you become the pad holder for your buddy. Personally, I am not a fan of such modality as skills level between you and your buddy may be different which could potentially be dangerous. No worries about the hygiene as the gym staff will constantly remind members to keep the shoes off the mat. Kudos to the enforcement. Gym has toilet and locker room with showering facilities but there are no lockers provided.”

“I went for an introductory bjj lesson. Started with warm ups which included forward rolls. One young woman, obviously new was struggling a bit and not as fast as others, the instructor, obviously frustrated and apparently in a rush dismissively and probably embarrassingly for her said "you'll have to come to a beginners class, we haven't got time!" We then sat down as he showed us the moves we'd be doing. He picked my to demonstrate on, a headlock under his arm type thing. Being new and uncomfortable in that sudden position with the pressure being applied for the first time in my life I tapped him to stop saying jokingly "that felt weird." Frustrated and in a rush again he scolded me with a "it's because you're resisting!" I didn't go back. -------------------------------------------------------------- In responce to Cliff's reply, this incident happened a couple years back. It's bugged me since and while looking for a bjj gym again recently I stumbled across the Diesel website and was reminded of the incident and why I never went back. Also in responce to Cliff's comments, yes it must have been an all levels class, hence the guy (white, slim, short dark hair, mid to late 20s or early 30s) telling the woman to attend a beginners class. Also he didn't demonstrate on me for the class, he demonstrated on me for the group I was in. Cliff is obviously very proud of his gyms reputation and I did do muai thai with Arnas (I believe his name was) who was a very nice guy. But that incident did put me, and probably the lady, off of bjj at Diesel. I'll change my rating from 1 star to 3 to reflect that incident but also the positives I experienced with Arnas at Diesel gym. Thanks”
