SBG Manchester is one of the UK’s most established and respected Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academies, proudly celebrating over 25 years at the heart of the city’s combat sports scene. Founded by the late Karl Tanswell, a pioneer of UK MMA and a key figure in the global SBG network, the gym has built a reputation for producing high-level athletes while maintaining a welcoming, ego-free environment.
