About Newbury Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Newbury Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a dedicated BJJ academy in the heart of Newbury offering friendly, structured training for adults and kids alike. As an affiliate of the prestigious Paraestra organisation under head instructor Sensei Yuki Nakai, the club combines traditional discipline with a modern grappling curriculum. Led by experienced Black Belt coach Stephen Byrne, the gym emphasises technique, self-defence and a supportive, ego-free environment. Whether you’re starting your first class or fine-tuning your competition game, you’ll find a welcoming community and a high-quality training facility complete with changing rooms and free parking.
